Connect and approve permissions

The endpoint is https://astor.sh/mcp. Use an application compatible with Astor’s advertised MCP 2026-07-28 contract, sign in to Astor, select the project and approve its permissions. An HTTPS endpoint alone does not verify a connection with a particular AI tool. See connection setup.

Tools share the platform’s access, version and approval rules. Reads never silently start a microphone or recording. A tool description does not authorize a paid job, scope approval or deployment.

analyse_ticket shares the REST analysis rules. An empty message requests a new six-unit review; a nonempty message must answer current saved open questions in an accepted review. Use the current analysis_id from get_ticket, and reuse the same payload and idempotency key for an uncertain retry. Included replies use no extra units, including at zero pool. A first, resolved or changed review returns 409 instead of starting free model work. A valid reply stopped by the shared estimated cost ceiling is saved as a blocked analysis with its answer retained for manual use.

decide_inboxWrite

When a product owner asks, choose an Inbox improvement, attach its evidence to an existing ticket or dismiss it. A reason is optional. The response includes an undo reference valid for ten minutes if work has not continued. Read get_inbox first; supply every reviewed feedback version and finding_revision for Live findings. Supply environment_id when reviewing a website-filtered finding. Choosing preserves observations and never approves scope or starts AI work. The target must be a current chosen ticket in this project. Live decisions also require live:read. Reuse the same idempotency key on retry.

connect_server_liveWrite

Use undo_ticket_evidence to undo a new link within ten minutes if no newer ticket change has occurred. Sources must belong to this project; environments may differ. verify_ticketWrite

Record the user's explicit verification of an approved implementation. When reviewAccess.canVerifyOwnChange is true and the user explicitly chooses to verify their own change, set self_review=true; the result is recorded as self-verification, not independent approval. Read the current ticket and locked acceptance criteria; record every criterion exactly, its observed pass/fail result, environment and release or preview reference. Never infer verification from an agent result or source counts. A failed check requests changes. Free and idempotent.

analyse_ticketWrite

When a product owner requests it, start an unlocked ticket review at 6 Astor units with an empty message, or answer a current saved open question within its accepted review using message and optional analysis_id. Included replies reserve no extra units, even at zero pool; a first, resolved or changed review cannot authorize free model work. All calls share the accepted review’s estimated cost ceiling; a stop retains the manual path and never starts a paid fallback. Read with get_ticket; a human reviews and saves the suggestion through update_ticket. Linked Live evidence also requires live:read. Reuse idempotency_key on retry.
