Install once per environment
Open Project settings → Installation and choose your website. The setup steps are directly visible.
Choose Your build tool, then Copy installation prompt. Paste it into Lovable, Codex, Claude Code or your selected builder and publish the change. The prompt contains the exact code for this environment. If browser copying is unavailable, the instruction opens for manual copying. Switching the website or build tool clears the message; late copy responses do not describe the new selection. Closing the instructions also ignores a pending copy reply.
For manual installation, choose Install manually or Install manually instead. The script appears directly; choose Copy script. You can inspect the longer builder instructions under Read the installation prompt. After verification, the instructions remain under Installation details.
Publish the script in the original HTML of the saved website. Reuse this installation for feedback, Missions and optional Live collection. Do not substitute a script from another project or environment.
Verify the published website
Choose Verify installation after publishing. Astor checks the saved public HTTPS address for the matching executable script and installation proof. Adding it only after the page loads may not pass this check.
After a successful check, choose Leave feedback beside your website address. It opens the website in a new tab. When you use the verification button with the keyboard, focus follows the next visible action as the setup steps close.
If checks overlap, Astor keeps the newer check’s result. An older response cannot undo a newer verification or turn off its Live collection. Changing the website address or installation code makes earlier checks obsolete.
Astor also retries unverified websites on its hourly schedule. Newly pending websites are eligible for the next hourly slot, and a late invocation keeps the following slot eligible. If a website is still unverified after 24 hours, it queues one reminder for a current project admin when email delivery is available. A reminder does not replace verification.
If verification fails:
- Confirm that the saved address is the published website you changed.
- Confirm that the script is in the original page HTML.
- Use the code shown for this exact environment.
- Publish the change, then retry the button.
Changing the address requires a new verification. Private websites need the server access integration; a browser overlay alone does not protect the site or provide a reliable installation check.
Open feedback
Once the website is verified and project access is active, choose Leave feedback in setup or use a personal tester link. On desktop, use Shift + Option + F on macOS or Shift + Alt + F on Windows/Linux.
Ordinary visitors do not see a public Astor launcher. On mobile, use the opening link instead of a keyboard shortcut. Sign in if asked; successful sign-in closes the pop-in and shows the toolbar automatically on the same page. Then leave feedback.
Verification does not activate Live, grant a new person access or confirm a payment.
